This two-day course will cover exterior earthen plasters using local clay, sand, and straw. We will learn how to source materials, find good mix ratios, and prepare exterior mud plaster. Students will learn different application methods for base coats, leveling coats, and finish coats on exterior adobe walls while developing trowel skills.
